Some Frequently Asked Questions

Cleanups

You are not alone. Many business owners find it difficult to read financial reports confidently. We simplify your reporting and explain the exact story your Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets are telling about your business.

Yes, we do. We specialize in cleanups using your last filed tax return to adjust the beginning balances and bring all your data completely up to date.

Yes. The system would need to be inspected with supporting documents. Bank statements, CC statements, payroll reports. Etc. Every situation is different, please contact me with your specific situation.

Yes. We conduct confidential system inspections. To do this, we review your files alongside supporting documentation like bank statements, credit card records, and payroll reports. Every situation is unique, so please contact us directly to discuss your specific situation.

General

We handle all bookkeeping remotely online. We can conduct our initial meetings in person or via Zoom. If you ever require an in-person monthly meeting, we will do our best to accommodate you.

We handle monthly payroll data entries into your accounting system through your existing payroll provider. If you do not have a provider yet, we are happy to recommend a platform that fits your needs.

We do not file taxes directly. Instead, we specialize in “tax-ready” bookkeeping. We organize and reconcile your files perfectly throughout the year so they are ready to be handed off to your CPA or accountant at tax time.

Pricing & Onboarding

We tailor our pricing to the size, complexity, and specific needs of your business. Contact us for a free initial consultation, and we will provide a customized contract.

Onboarding depends on client response time of providing all the necessary information to complete the bookkeeping services.

Yes. We can save the backup of your QuickBooks Desktop account and then import it into QuickBooks Online so all the historical DATA will still be available.

We protect your sensitive financial information using multiple layers of security, including encrypted data storage, two-step authentication, secure network access, and next-generation antivirus protection. Access to client data is restricted to authorized team members and safeguarded using industry-standard security practices.

No, an extension only grants more time to file, not to pay. Tax payments are still due on March 15 for businesses and April 15 for individuals. To avoid penalties, we recommend making regular estimated payments throughout the year based on your CPA’s schedule.

Banks prioritize your net profit (the bottom line) to ensure you can afford monthly payments. A negative net income signals a high repayment risk to lenders. While showing a profit means paying more in taxes, it greatly improves your chances of securing funding.
